About me

Hey there! I’m Shawna Green (Owner), and I’ve been happily married to my high school sweetheart, Mike (a Mount Pleasant native), since 1986—talk about a long-term commitment! We've got two amazing sons and their lovely wives, plus two cute grandsons who keep us on our toes.Thanks to the Army, we got to experience living in places like Germany and Italy (yes, we’ve tried the pizza & pasta and its nothing like here in the states),Charleston, and Ft Bragg NC (Fayetteville), however we decided to come back home to Mount Pleasant in 2022.

I did real estate in NC for over 20 years so when we moved I wanted to do something different.  When we would come home to visit, we always said there was never really anything to do. My Mother-in-Love always said how lucky I was to be able to paint when we lived in Fayetteville.  Fast forward, once we moved to Mount Pleasant I decided to open a paint your own pottery shop since the closest one is 45 minutes away. This was what I did for fun in NC.   I wanted something that anyone regardless of age could do.  It took a while to find a good location and whew...here we are now!  The shop has become my happy place and I have met so many awesome people, and many I now consider my friends!
